Another Gate River Run update -- As of Thursday 8:00 p.m.
We'll have a limited number of Hospitality Area wristbands available tomorrow at Red Otter Outfitters on Atlantic Avenue. So, if you can't pick them up at the Expo, you'll be able to get them locally on Friday. We'll be handing out the wristbands today and tomorrow until 6 p.m. at the Florida Striders table at the expo -- it's located right after you leave the packet-pickup area (and just as you are entering the main Expo area.) Remember, all AIR members, their immediate family members and up to 5 guests get free admission to the Hospitality Area, but you must be wearing a wristband.
Also -- our AIR members Elfrieda and Norm Wyner are scheduled to be on TV tonight! The segment is expected to air during the CBS47 5:30 p.m. news, the 10 p.m. news on FOX30, and the 11 p.m. news on CBS47. As you may know they are the only married couple to have done all of the previous River Runs to date. The "streak" ends this year as Norm has officially retired from River Running, but he's still working hard as our AIR Webmaster.
Frieda is also featured in the Health Source magazine you'll find in your Gate River Run packet. She holds an amazing number of River Run age records in addition to her continuing "streak." They'll both be at our Hospitality Area on Saturday, please come congratulate them on their River Run achievements!
